Virtual Cruising Consulting

Looking for a little extra help?  Virtual consulting allows you to meet virtually with Andy, Gwen or both to talk through your issues or questions.  Each session purchased is worth one hour of consulting time, and can be used for any of the topics listed below.

Andy, a mechanical engineer, has been helping friends and family troubleshoot their mechanical issues for over 20 years. Andy is ABYC Marine Systems certified. He has a special talent for logically working through problems without bringing out the "parts cannon" and prides himself on finding simple solutions to complex situations. Andy's skills are best used for the following topics:

• Diesel or Gasoline Engine Issues (including outboards and generators)
• Solar System Set-up or Troubleshooting
• Watermaker Set-up or Troubleshooting
• Boat Plumbing
• Canvas Projects (Excluding Sailmaking)
• Boat Electrical

As our "head of logistics and chief explainer," Gwen uses her background in corporate education to break down complex topics to make them easier to understand. Gwen's skills are best suited for the following topics:

• Navigation
• Route Planning
• Weather
• Boat Upkeep (Cleaning, Paint, and Varnish)
• Small Space Organization
• Provisioning (Both Grocery and Personal Care/First Aid)
• General Cruising Questions
